Teavana

There's a new tea store in the mall called Teavana.

I went in to poke around while my mom was in the bathroom,

and they managed to give me 6 or 7 samples of delicious tea,

and thus dupe me into buying some.

I'm a sucker.

And I don't like pushy sales people.

But I have to admit, this is a really good cup of tea.

White Ayurvedic Chai.

Whirlwind Weekend

Once again, a long absence!

I swear, it's not intentional.

But guess what I've been doing?

1. I spent all afternoon last week calling caterers and rental houses.
2. I finished my senior thesis.
3. I present my thesis for an undergraduate research conference, and also for my department the next day.
4. I entered a nature art contest.
5. I attended a few showings at the Nashville Film Festival. (And didn't at all understand Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives)
6. I came down with a bit of a case of Food Poisoning :(
7. But Colton cradled my head in his lap and patted my face with a cool washcloth :)
8. I got a Pinterest! Here's my pinboard. It only has four pins so far, but it's a start! Note - my username is Kelly Davie. The first time I'm using my new name! (Okay, so I won't actually have it for a few months more, but my actual name was already taken. Plus, now I don't have to change it!)

That's about it, really.
Graduation Fast Approaches!

I'm hoping that someone will get me a longboard as a present. :)

Bieber Fever, Round two:

That's right folks, a new bieber video has been shot.

However, my senior thesis is due this friday, so I doubt I'll get around to editing until after I turn in that bad boy.

But just as a teaser -

Okay - Here It Is.

I got Colton to give me a crash course in editing - I'm terribly pleased with myself.

La La Last Semester!

That means I'm desperately trying to finish my Thesis, which is on the Healing of Spiritual Blindness through the Revelation of the Way of the Lord.

In other news, I took a good study break last night...

my friends and I made a Justin Bieber music video.

I'll be sure to post it once I learn some sick editing skills from Colton :)

I'm holding in my hand

(well... now in my tummy)

a bottle of Pom pomegranate peach passion white tea.

Sounds yummy, right?

Yeah, it is.

But the thing is - it has the word "super" in the title.

It's called "antioxidant super tea"

That suggests alot regarding its contents.

Even if I don't end up with some sort of marvelous jumping or punching or flying skills by the end of the night,

I'm hoping that I'll still gain some sort of useful skill,

like super couponing,

or long boarding,

or cat whispering.

Don't let me down, Pom.

California, Here We Come!

I just got back from Sunny (well... sortof.) California!

Colton and I will be moving there this summer right after our wedding.

It's a pretty big move... I'm truly a southern girl. Until this trip, I had never been west of Texas.

But there's good news - I love it!

I didn't take many pictures, but here are just a few of my favorites from the trip.

(It's really not as different as I thought it would be. We're going to live in the valley. The only place I even deemed tourist-photo worthy was Venice Beach, which was just as zany as I expected!)
